The announcement of a security vulnerability (https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2021-44228) in a Java code library used in many online services shook the Internet on December 10th, 2021, prompting many businesses to contact their service providers to ask whether their services are affected. Chinsay uses a different logging mechanism in the Java portions of our technology stack and does not deploy the log4j library. Neither Chinsay's ICP Intelligent Contract Platform nor the RM Recap Manager is affected by this security issue.
